To be or not to be, that is the question

So, the online date - two actually!

He's lovely. Really lovely. Conversation was flowing (both times) and flirting was definitely included. He's interesting, funny, sensitive, all the things I thought from his profile. I think I got to know him pretty well, or at least, as much as you can tell from talking through a computer.

We exchanged numbers too - he's been really busy so texting was an obvious means of communication. However, the flaw with this is the excuse of not meeting for a date. I was hinting all weekend, and although my hopes were up on several occasions, no such luck.

As great as he seems, you never know until you have met someone. Although we get on, there could be a million reasons why it might not work. Chemistry, attraction, flirting, banter, conversation - all things that could be missing as a result of our "virtual relationship".

At the same time, it could go really well. I've intentionally left questions open and am looking forward to meeting him. A lot. The problem is that I am struggling to get him to commit to a date. I'm really struggling. And its frustrating.

At the same time, interest on match has suddenly increased. I have had 5 winks and a few e-mails, one of particular interest. But I am kind of holding out on Nathan. Ah. The joys of online dating - like buses, nothing for ages and then 4 show up at once.

I'll let you know if I ever get that date.
